About Scott Iwata. Iwata has worked professionally on a national, regional, and local level creating and implementing public relations campaigns. He has partnered with the American Medical Association (AMA), Chamaty Diamond & Gem of Seattle, Pituitary Network Association (PNA), the Girl Scouts Mid-Columbia Council (GSMCC) and Central Washington University’s Athletic Department. Currently Iwata works at AOL's Sales and Account Management department as an Associate Account Manager
Previous to his time at AOL, Iwata spent 11 years working for the Seattle Mariners Baseball Club starting when he was 13 years old. He became the youngest front office employee at the age of 18. Iwata held many positions during his time with the Mariners but the most notable job he did for them was the Mariner Moose. Holding that position for 6 years.
Iwata started running with Team In Training in the winter of 2007 and ran two marathons in six months, completing the Country Music Marathon in Nashville and the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco. Iwata is attempting to run two marathons in 27 days while fundraising for Team In Training. Iwata is currently training to run Rock and Roll San Diego at the end of May and Rock and Roll Seattle at the end of June.
